Sharon A. Daniels,
is the President of Weiss Capital Management, Inc. and Weiss Capital Securities,
a full-service brokerage firm and subsidiary of Weiss Capital Management. She brings
more than two decades of investing experience to Weiss, with an emphasis on investment
program design, allocation and analysis. Her background spans various investment
arenas, including brokerage, retail and institutional sales and development. Ms.
Daniels joined Weiss Capital Management in 1990 as Vice President, where she co-developed
and introduced a line of mutual funds. She then took a six-year opportunity to edit
and publish her financial newsletter, UnDiscovered Stocks. In 2004, she
rejoined the firm and now devotes herself, full time, to running Weiss Capital Management
and Weiss Capital Securities. Ms. Daniels holds a bachelor’s degree from Southwest
Texas State University and holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 65 securities licenses.

Dan Ascani is the Executive Vice President of
Weiss Capital Management, Inc., an SEC Registered Investment Adviser managing approximately
$375 million for private and high-net worth investors. He is the Executive Vice
President of Weiss Capital Securities, Inc., a FINRA-member broker/dealer.
Dan is also Managing Director of Gemini Futures LLC, an Introducing Broker (IB),
Commodity Pool Operator (CPO), and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) registered with
the CFTC where he manages two hedge funds: Gemini Long/Short Gold Fund and Gemini
Total Return Gold Fund. Weiss Capital Securities distributes these funds on behalf
of Gemini Futures.
Dan’s specialties encompass areas such as alternatives, commodities, hedge
funds and asset allocation strategies. Throughout his career, he has been active
in the development of strategic investment products, utilizing his skill in developing
technical and mathematical trading systems in order to directly manage client investment
portfolios.
His expertise in developing and executing trading strategies has been recognized
by many well-known investment firms. Since the early 1990s, prominent financial
institutions such as the Rushmore Funds (now known as the Cappiello-Rushmore Funds),
Rydex Investments, the Rogers Raw Materials Fund, and the Perth Mint of Western
Australia have turned to Dan for counsel and support in developing innovative strategies
to apply to new investment products.
At Weiss Capital Management, Dan utilizes his proprietary quantitative model to
manage three strategic investment programs that invest exclusively in ETFs. In addition
to his research, analysis and direct money management of the firm’s ETF programs
he provides insight and direction on the market and the economy through his active
participation in the Weiss Investment Committee.
Dan has more than two decades of professional investment experience and holds FINRA
Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses and a Series 3 commodities license.
Over his career, Dan has frequently been quoted in the press and is active in the
investment circuit. He is a regular speaker at numerous investment conferences and
has been a guest on TV and radio shows providing expert market commentary and investment
analysis on subjects including gold, commodities and exchange traded funds. In addition,
during the 1980s and 1990s, Dan hosted his own radio and television shows on local
and syndicated television and radio stations on the West Coast. Dan lives
in Jupiter, Florida with his wife Sheila and enjoys various activities including
boating, swimming, and horseback riding. |
Steve Chapman is Vice President of Weiss Capital
Management, Inc., Weiss Capital Securities, Inc., and portfolio manager of the Weiss
Diversified Income Builder, Diversified Income Plus, Diversified Global Income and
Growth and the All-World Strategic Growth programs. He works closely with our Financial
Advisors to provide a high level of client service that includes making sure that
their investment allocations are consistent with their personal financial goals.
Steve has over 30 years of institutional, retail brokerage, financial and securities
experience with some of the most recognized and respected firms in the industry.
In addition, Steve holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 53, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
